Links To Your Site

One of the things search engines love is a site with lots of links pointing to that site.

There are two types of links: OneWayLinks and ReciprocalLinks. Of these the One way links are the best.

There are all kinds of ways to create links to your site. I name but a few. These could already create a few very profitable ideas in your mind.

  1. Blogging. In a Blog article you can create links to your site.
  2. Submit your site address to top search engines. Do not waste too much time on this as there are not very many search engines where this type of submitting results in much of a growth in your site’s popularity.
  3. Submit articles to article websites. This MoneyWiki is one of them.
  4. Forums. Some forums like the HomeWorkRichesForum allow you to create a signature with a link in it. These signatures will then create links to your site when you post messages on the Forum.
  5. Pay software developers to create software for you that contain your link. You can then give that software away for free.
  6. MoneyWiki. This MoneyWiki allows you to create free articles or advertisements. These all create links to your website. Best of all is that this is of the good type OneWayLinks.
  7. To be controversial may also result in people reading sites that may contain links to your site. I heard of a guy who attacked the Bible and he got a lot of advertisement out of it as many people attacked him for his views – but it got him a lot of traffic to his site.
  8. Think outside the box. You do not need to only advertise on the Internet. What about fliers, business cards, brochures and newspaper articles, to name a few, bearing your website address.
  9. Create a site where people can post reciprocal links. You may even require the user to supply an email address and build your own email opt in list or E zine in this way.
  10. Put your web page address in your email signature and in your Ezine signature.
