Investors wanted for New Lesotho high tech university

The Lesotho government approached the construction industry to get involved in the construction of a new university with high tech capability to enhance the country’s skills capacity. For this purpose the construction industry will need a loan that totals 600 million ZAR. The loan will be taken up in two payments of 300 million ZAR each and will be repaid over a period of 15 years. The Group that will be handling this has an excellent track record of successful projects of this magnitude. More information is available to an interested party.

The loan will be backed by a guarantee from the Lesotho government. Three SA Banks (Standard Bank; First National Bank and Nedbank) work in close conjunction with the Lesotho Central Bank as well as the Lesotho Post Bank. The Lesotho currency is linked to the ZAR and the democracy of Lesotho is exceptionally stable with sober leadership.

The developer is able to offer an ROI of between 20-22% on this university development project, depending on the level of involvement by the party, be it an investor or alternatively a banker. The developer will also, for the sake of good governance, be comfortable with the appointment of an independent QS by the interested party to monitor the application of funds and the overall progress of the project. Regular reports on progress will be made available and visits to the site will be welcomed (for own expense, not included in this calculation).
